The Secretary of the Ministry of Transport KCN Perera said in a statement that the issuance of vehicle revenue licenses in the Western Province was temporarily stopped due to an update of the computer system.
Accordingly, September 27 has been suspended until October 2, and vehicle revenue licenses expiring from September 26 can be re-acquired up to October 10 without paying fines, the Ministry of Transport said.
The announcement issued by the Secretary of the Ministry of Transport further states that the online system of obtaining vehicle revenue licenses by visiting the website www.motortraffic.wp.gov.lk has been temporarily suspended from the midnight of September 24 to October 6.
