Those arrested during a protest at the Parliament Roundabout in Colombo today have been taken into quarantine. A woman on the bus had posted a video on the internet claiming that she and a group of others had been abducted.
The woman stated in the video that the police had forcibly taken her and the group into quarantine while she had been granted bail by the court and had torn her clothes and raped her.
The woman also requested Minister Sarath Weerasekara to bring her the clothes she needed.
