Separate villages are being built in Tamil Nadu for the Sri Lankan tamil people

According to the Indian media, the State Chief Minister of tamilnadu MK Stalin has taken steps to provide 1,500 newly built houses in 19 rehabilitation camps for the Sri Lankan Tamils who have fled to the India. These camps are located in 13 districts of Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister has recently inaugurated 1500 houses worth INR 79.70 million which have been constructed in several other districts including Thiruvannamalai, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Virudhunagar and Shivaganga.

It is reported that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has also ordered to name the camps where the Sri Lankan tamil stayed as rehabilitation camps and not as refugee camps.
