For sacred places, land from Harin at Rs 100 per perch

The Land Reforms Commission states that out of the three hundred and forty-three sacred places that have been identified as lacking deeds, 153 are being speedily prepared for the deeds. This program is implemented on the advice of Tourism and Lands Minister Harin Fernando.

There, the value of a perch is assessed as one hundred rupees and the deeds are given. So far, by paying the assessed value of 25% of the government’s assessment, the relevant deeds for sacred places should be obtained, but this step has been taken on receiving a large number of requests to reduce its value.
