Vannyelathto comes to see the skeletons of the indigenous people brought from Switzerland.

12 skeletons of Sri Lankan Vedhdhas, 30 skulls and artifacts weighing 400 kg, which were kept in museums in Switzerland, have been brought to Sri Lanka.

Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickramanayake said that with the successful repatriation of artifacts from Holland last year, attention was focused on repatriating these human remains and artifacts from Switzerland.

An exhibition including local human remains and antiquities brought to Sri Lanka from the Basel Museum in Switzerland was also held in Colombo on Wednesday. Adivasi leader Vanniyalaeththo also participated in this.

With the Swiss government at the request of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs . These goods have been returned to Sri Lanka through a formal agreement.
