Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious, Cultural Affairs, National Integration, Social Security and Mass Media has taken steps to temporarily cancel the State Literary Award Ceremony and the State Children’s Drama Festival.
It has been decided to temporarily cancel this as per the instructions of the Election Commission due to the upcoming General Election.
The State Literary Award Ceremony was scheduled to be held on the 14th and the State Children’s Drama Festival on the 9th of November.
The ministry added that steps will be taken to notify the dates of those events later.
