The parents go to the Courts demanding not to released the marks of the scholarship examination

A fundamental rights petition has been submitted to the Supreme Court asking for an interim injunction to prevent the release of marks and cut-off marks of the 05 year scholarship examination held last September.

These petitions have been submitted by a group of students who appeared for the scholarship examination and their parents.

Exam Commissioner General Amit Jayasundara said yesterday that there is no need to re-conduct the 5th grade scholarship exam and it was decided to give free marks for the questions that were said to have been postponed.
