Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa says that the Janata Vimukthi Peramuna, which was strongly opposed to India, has now reached the point of negotiating with the Indian government. He mentioned that due to that party’s opposition to India, the country lost many foreign investments.
He said that they were the ones who took steps to go to court against the Sampur power plant, and that if the Mannar wind power plants had been there, the Gotabhaya government would not have had to cut power.
He further mentioned that there is a possibility of large amount of investment coming in the future by JVP visit to India and their trade unions are not able to oppose it.
