The position of Group CEO of Swarnavahini Media Network, the largest media network in Sri Lanka, has been given to veteran journalist and lawyer Susara Dinal.
The Swarnavahini Media Network includes four television channels and eight radio channels.
They are controlled under three companies. The position of Group CEO of all three companies has been assigned to Attorney-at-Law Susara Dinal.
Susara Dinal started his media career with Swarnavahini.

He joined Swarnavahini with the founding team of Swarnavahini in March 1997 and worked there for five years until 2002. At that time, he was known as a pioneer in the launch of the Live @8 newscast.
Susara, who had become the most popular presenter on Swarnavahini, joined the Capital Maharaja Group’s MTV media network in 2002.

Having held various positions there, he was a pioneer in starting Sirasa Superstar. He also played a pioneering role in introducing reality programs to the country by starting pioneering reality TV programs such as Sirasa Dancing Star, Sirasa Kumari, Man Hunt, etc. Susara Dinal later played a key role in the Voice of Sri Lanka program.
He became the head of Sirasa Channel in 2006 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of MTV Media Network, which is owned by Sirasa TV, since 2018.
