Udaya Gammanpila, the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Sarvajana Bhaula Colombo district candidate , said that the question paper of the general public examination given to the A-level students in the second term examination of Matugama CW Kannangara Central College contained 5 questions related to the National People’s Power.
He mentioned this while attending a press conference held today. Commenting further, he said:
“NPP Kalutara district team leader Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa studied at Matugama CW Kannangara Central School. This is the question paper of the general public examination that was given to the A/L students in the second term examination of that college.
The first question is what is the name of President Anura’s policy statement.
The second question is the percentage of votes obtained by President Anura in the presidential election.
The third question is who is President Anura’s secretary?
The fourth question is about the scope of the Prime Minister.
The fifth question is the year in which JVP was founded.
Accordingly, the first five questions are allocated to the NPP. According to the guidelines for preparing the question paper issued by the Ministry of Education, the first 10 questions are devoted to information related to current events. 50% of it is or 5 out of 10 questions are about NPP.
Today, parents say that no government has infiltrated politics into schools like this and tried to eat the children’s heads. The former students of the school told us that they did not present such a series of questions to the children even when they won the war after defeating the LTTE terrorism.
