The police have issued a statement explaining the provision of security to Chabad centers established for Israelis residing in the country to carry out their religious activities, leisure activities and obtain food and beverages.
It states that steps have been taken to provide 24-hour security to Chabad centers established in several police districts in response to the threats.
It also states that if there is any threat to the security of any foreign nationals residing in the island, the Sri Lanka Police will assess it and provide the necessary security.
