Ravi Karunanayake has been expelled from the United National Party, sources close to the party say. It has been decided to cancel his UNP membership for fraudulently getting his name entered in the National List of the New Democratic Front. It is reported that he has violated the party constitution by doing so.
Police security has been provided to Ravi Karunanayake’s house at this time.
