Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has reportedly undergone surgery at a private hospital in Colombo. It was due to a knee injury that he had been suffering from for some time.
He had previously undergone surgery on one of his knees, and this time the surgery was performed on the other knee.
He is currently resting after the surgery and is expected to be able to resume his normal activities in a few days.
