Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali ordered that former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission in connection with three complaints on suspicion of committing the offense of “corruption”, be remanded until the 3rd.
The court also allowed Keheliya Rambukwella’s son Ramith Rambukwella to be named as a suspect in the case.
The magistrate issued this order after considering the arguments presented by the Bribery Commission and the defense lawyers.
