An 18-member delegation from Indian Automobile Manufacturers arrived sri lanka for two day visit . The indian deligetion wsih to fostering collaboration and development in the automobile industry between the two nations.
Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said that the indian delegation’s visit from 17-18 March 2025 aims to further strengthen the economic partnership between India and Sri Lanka.
The delegation included representatives from leading Indian vehicle manufacturers across all segments, including commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers.
During the visit, the delegation called on Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Handunneththi, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Chathuranga Abeysinghe.
