A story is being reported from Puliyankulam about a husband who severed the head of his murdered pregnant wife and brought the head to the police.
The murders were committed this morning (03) in the Puliyankulam area of Vavuniya and the suspect has surrendered to the Puliyankulam police with the knife used for the murder and the head.
The police, who acted immediately, have arrested the suspect and found the wife’s body near a forest.
The police say that the woman who was murdered in the incident is a teacher from the Nochchikulama area and that there has been a family dispute between the husband and his wife for a long time.
The Puliyankulam police are conducting further investigations.
