Former Sri Lankan national cricket team bowler Shehan Madusankha has been arrested by the Pannala Police with drugs. The arrested suspect was produced before the court and has been remanded in custody until June 1 for questioning.
The police told the court that the suspect had previously been arrested while transporting drugs in a car and was remanded on those charges.
The police said that they had received information that he had kept drugs in his house and that they were found during a search of the house.
