Duminda remanded until 19 due to gold-plated T56

Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake has been remanded until the 19th.

The former minister, who was arrested for possessing a gold-plated T56 firearm, was produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court today (05) from prison amid tight security. . The court judge then issued this ruling.

The former minister was arrested by the Police Terrorism Investigation Division on May 24th while he was in a housing complex in the Nimbirigasyaya area in connection with investigations into the ownership of the gold-plated T56 firearm found in the Havelock City luxury housing complex.
