The Colombo High Court has decided to hold the pre-trial hearing of the case filed against Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Namal Rajapaksa regarding Kris’ Ganudenuwa on June 27. Judge Pradeep Abeyratne announced this order when the case was called before the Colombo High Court for consideration.
Namal Rajapaksa has been accused in this case of receiving Rs. 70 million from Krish Company and criminal breach of trust.
The Attorney General has filed charges against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, alleging that he received Rs. 70 million from an Indian company ‘Kris’ under the guise of promoting rugby in Sri Lanka, thereby committing criminal breach of trust.
