Athula Thilakaratne, who was controversially released from the Anuradhapura Prison after receiving a presidential pardon, has reportedly appeared in the Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court today.
This is to appear in another case pending against him.
The police are currently conducting extensive investigations to arrest him.
The Anuradhapura High Court sentenced this person to imprisonment for embezzling and misappropriating a sum of 4 million Rs.
