Yesterday, Sri Lanka’s export fraternity requested President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to formalize the procedures to empower entrepreneurs and exporters to move the economy forward. They point out that it will create a business-friendly environment and it will lead to the growth of national income.
They express their full support for President Dissanayake’s commitment to maintain transparency and accountability in governance, which is essential to restore public confidence and create a more efficient and effective state. For that, they say that bureaucracy should be removed and obstacles faced by exporters and traders due to outdated administrative procedures should be removed.
