12 in hospital because of jellyfish

It is reported that 12 people who were swimming in the Panadura sea have been admitted to the Panadura Basic Hospital due to an allergy caused by stinging the jellyfish.

It is reported that this species of fish has developed symptoms such as redness, itching and pain in the parts of the body that have been touched.

Jellyfish, a species of marine life, can be found in the shallow waters between May and August, and for this reason, environmentalists inform the public that it is important to be aware of them while wading, diving and beachcombing.
