Finance Minister Shehan Semasinghe says that the payment of allowances for kidney patients, disabled and low-income adults will be paid as before, and the necessary provisions have been allocated for that purpose.
It is seen in the Twitter message issued by the Minister of State that provision has been made to pay 647,683 people as before, and the payment will be made in the next few days.
The state minister further states that including the waiting list, 517,962 people will be given elderly allowance, 88,602 disabled people and 41,119 people will be given kidney disease allowance.
It is mentioned that the elderly allowance can be obtained from the post offices and the disabled and kidney allowance can also be obtained from the regional secretariat offices.
