Foreign job fields are being digitized

Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara said that the cabinet has approved a digitization process with the ability to notify the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and its affiliates at the same time if there is any risk or inconvenience to the workers and professionals working in foreign countries.

Manusha Nanayakkara said this while attending a discussion held yesterday (23) with the journalists of the district in conjunction with the ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka’ program held in Matale.

The cabinet has approved a digitization process with the ability to simultaneously inform the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and its affiliates if there is any risk or inconvenience to the workers and professionals working in foreign countries, and by starting it soon, the foreign employment sector will be digitized to suit the new world. The minister added that it will happen.

He said that this system is more efficient than the current system of relief provided by embassies and that there will be some positive changes in the field in the future.
